Spurs Preview and Happy Holidays!

By: timmyg | December 24th, 2008

Happy Holidays from Massachusetts, where I’m spending this festive period at my parents house. There’s nothing like having the week off for vacation, and it being the festive football period.

Speaking of, thanks to last weekend’s demolition of Boro my hopes for the next two matches are quite low. If Fulham can nick a point against either Spurs or CSKA London, then I’ll be happy. If they’re defeated twice, then I wont be surprised (as long as there aren’t any blowouts).

Fulham will be without Gera, which shouldn’t effect the squad too much. Spurs have several question marks leading up to the game including King, Woodgate, and Bent, that may bode well for Fulham.

Spurs seem to be sputtering as of late, and have only scored 7 goals at home — lowest in the league. Conversely, Fulham don’t score away from home — also worst in the league.

I don’t normally predict, but a 0-0 seems on the table.
