Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho, its off Vilnius we go!

FK Vetra came from a 1-0 first leg defeat and quickly were 2-0 down on aggregate against HJK Helsinki before rallying to win 3-2 today and play host to Fulham next Thursday.

According to the coefficient rankings, Vetra is ranked 70th overall (we’re 17th).

Once the rest of the second qualifying round wraps up, I will post the entire third qualifying round draw, but include each team’s rankings to see who has it easy, who got screwed, etc.

I’d say we got a good draw.

There were two HUGE upsets this round, as 12th ranked Rosenborg lost to 101st ranked FK Karabakh Agdam of Azerbaijan 1-0 on aggregate, and 23rd ranked Anorthosis were stunned by 126th ranked OFK Petrovac of Montenegro. And not to mention Danish side AaB were also sent home.

UPDATE: Below is the Third Qualifying Round Draw, with rankings:

Spose its decent time to be a Roma and Fulham fan if you’re … that’s a good draw for the Cottagers though. Vetra’s shite, should be a fun two legs of mop up.

Good stuff here mate, I’ll be following ya.

The sign should say: Sveiki atvykę į Vilnių (not Vilniaus), and don’t expect is to be as easy as you’d like it to be, yesterday we’ve proved to have some powder too (by the way, remember Rangers’ last year’s story?), see u in Vilnius :)

Bahh, I knew I was going to spell it incorrectly — I don’t know Lithuanian. What does the sign say now currently? (Like, is it in a incorrect tense or form?)

And yes I remeber Rangers last year. Hopefully we don’t slip on the same banana peel.

Its going to be a great match, and I am quite sad I wont be able to attend. I hear Vilnius is a great city!

It now says welcome to Vilnius’ (e.g. London’s) something should follow the word :) And Vilnius is actually a great and beautiful city, you should really take a visit sometime

Ideas are like the stars — we never reach them, but like mariners, we chart our course by them.
