Okay, maybe not a new Fulham there

Last post I wrote about the “HUGE” match at St. James’ Park.
What I meant was how it was going to be an emphatic match, where the least Fulham would get is a point and inch their way to safety.
But instead, after eagerly anticipating the results the entire 11-hour drive home from Savannah, what resulted was a “HUGE” turd that sent Fulham right back down into the throngs of the mire. And with Sunderland winning away(!!!), Boro winning, Reading beating Brum, and Bolton getting a point from Man City, it was a terrible day for SW6.
And I really have a bone to pick with Roy Hodgson: stop playing people out of position! Although Woy (again, lingo from us fans) has thankfully moved away from the 4-5-1, he’s gone and done something else equally as vexing. Andreasen is not a winger, nor does Davies belong on the left side. Murphy should not be still starting, whereas Dempsey should.
And from what I saw in the highlights, Fulham seemed flat and disinterested. Who was the last team Newcastle beat in league play? That’s right, us. Although here is some funny commentary from Sky Sports:
“Hodgson not happy: Roy Hodgson does not look happy standing on the sidelines as he stares at another defeat for his side.”
Now 3 points at Derby is an absolute must, but with this club who knows if even that will happen.
