Drawing Derby Really Takes The Wind Out Of Your Sails
By: jon | October 23rd, 2007Doesn’t it? Granted, it was 10 man squad for a lot of the game. But this is DERBY COUNTY. Potentially one of the worst Premier League teams ever.
The bright side, a draw against Derby shot us up to 13th in the table. That tells you how close the teams are still, and it tells you that if things broke our way, we’d be top 10. The goal scoring has disappeared. The D has shored up. Goaltending looks strong. We’re in bizarro world.
One good game by Niemi, and now he’s back to being the starter. Nevermind it’s only because of Keller’s injury. I would venture if we don’t start seeing some wins, Sanchez is out of here. What say you? We spent a lot of money this Summer, and haven’t really shown anything for it.
This weekend against Sunderland MUST BE A WIN. MUST WIN. An overused phrase that, in this case, is totally true. What are you Fulham fans thinking?

Agreed, this is a must-win! Just like the match against Derby was….This is supposed to be the points-fattening portion of the schedule. No wins, no Sanchez.
By the way, welcome back. Hope you’re feeling better.
