Operation: Avoid the Drop
By: jon | February 3rd, 2008Hey people. Because I have a soft spot for this neglected team in London, I’m going to pick back up the reins of this here blogging establishment, and give me internet support for Fulham to avoid the drop to the Championship.
If today’s results are any indicator, that just may happen…
After today’s performance, mainly by Jimmy Bullard, aka ‘Elephant man‘,
AKA:

Fulham’s hopes of getting out of the relegation fight look better than they have in weeks. Here is the table after today’s action.
14. Bolton 25 points
15. Wigan 23 points
16. Sunderland 23 points
17. Reading 22 points
18. Birmingham 21 points
19. Fulham 19 points
20. Derby 9 points
The good news? The bottom of the table is clumped together, and a string of results could lead the team to safety. Here are the upcoming fixtures:
Middlesborough Away
West Ham Home
Man Utd Home
Blackburn Away
By my calculations, that’s 7 points. And that’s good news. Congrats to Roy Hodgson for his first 3 points.
So, anyway, I’m back. Feel free to comment, tell me I suck, tell me Fulham sucks, whatever you want.

Chris Baird is an idiot. Stalteria (sp) needs to be the starter.
Deuce, McBride, Bullard and Eddie Money will provide the bullets to keep Fulham in the league.
My guess is… Derby is done and dusted, The Scots will not help Birmingham enough, and Reading hits the sophomore slump too hard to stay up.
Fulham finished 17th and A-train Varga owes me 10 dollars.

I am not sure about the 7 points.
But it’s good to see Jimmy Bullard is back to his best, after 16 months of horrible injury.
For relegation, Derby is almost certain. I would like to see Sunderland go down.
I hope Fulham will stay because as an Arsenal fan, I’ve fond memories of Fulham beating MU.
To be honest, I like Chris Coleman and his attacking style. Too bad he was dumped for the sacked Lawrie Sanchez.
Roy Hodgson? I never heard of him until recently.
