When the obituary is written about Fulham’s 2007/08 season, the recurring theme should be “blown chances.” Derby, Sunderland, Wigan, Birmingham, Newcastle, ‘Boro, West Ham — all matches (some twice) that were for the taking yet ended with less than satisfactory results.

In the podcast I mentioned how I had a bad feeling about this match.
But for sixty or so seconds, I had hope. Hope that the march up the table would commence in earnest and the (embarrassing) road form would finally end.
